A city that actually lives up to the hype
Bruges is genuinely one of the prettiest places I've been. The canals around Rozenhoedkaai are just stunning, especially in the morning light. Chocolate everywhere and it's all so good. Highly recommend!
Best city break I've had in ages
Bruges totally won me over. The whole old town is so walkable and the buildings are just beautiful. Tried a proper Belgian waffle from a street stall near the Markt square - way better than any I've had back home. People were super friendly too.
Perfect weekend escape
Came for a short break and left completely in love with this place. The architecture is like nothing else - it feels like stepping into a painting. The local beer scene is brilliant too. So many cozy pubs to try different Belgian ales.
Bruges in winter is something else
Visited during the Christmas market season and it was magical. The Grote Markt all lit up with market stalls was just incredible. Hot chocolate, waffles, and mulled wine everywhere you look. Compact enough to cover on foot easily.
Fairytale city - totally worth it
The canals, the cobblestones, the medieval towers - Bruges has it all. Loved every bit of it. The moules-frites at a little place near Burg Square were absolutely delicious. Great value compared to other European city breaks.
Chocolate lover's paradise
If you love chocolate, Bruges is your city. The shops along Steenstraat alone could keep you busy for hours. Everything is handmade and seriously good quality. The city itself is gorgeous - very easy to spend a full day just wandering around.
